Rodney Crowell

Rodney Crowell

Rodney Crowell has been called the godfather of Americana Music.  He is an iconic, Grammy award winning songwriter who has penned material for the likes of Bob Segar, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Emmylou Harris, Jerry Reed, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Tim MgGraw, Keith Urban, Norah Jones and many more.

He is also an award winning author, poet, producer and recording artist - his 1986 album Diamonds And Dirt became the first country album to feature 5 consecutive #1 hits.

His songs are masterpieces and within the famed writing community of Nashville he is held in the highest esteem.  He is a member of the Songwriting Hall Of Fame and has been bestowed the prestigious ASCAP founders award.

Rodney has inspired me endlessly - we have been performing together for the last 3 years and it has been a remarkable experience I am so grateful for. He is the embodiment of the Texas poet and quintessential songwriter.
